Introduction to SUP Lesson
If you are new to Stand Up Paddling, we will help you master the techniques of balance, paddling, turning, water safety, equipment management and etiquette in a safe and fun environment. The instructor helps you increase your skill level throughout the entire lesson, critiquing your paddling technique, improving your speed and endurance. After a SUP Intro lesson, you will be set to paddle almost anywhere with reasonable confidence. Individuals must be comfortable in a open water ocean environment and be able to swim in the ocean. *Due to Covid -19 we require advanced booking and request -NO – Walk in traffic. Included: Board, Paddle, leash, PFD. All levels welcome
SUP Yoga: Paddle, Stretch, and Flow
The class is about 60 minutes long. The first 10 minutes is dedicated to learning how to properly use a paddle board and the remaining hour is dedicated to yoga on the paddle board. We modify standing poses for ease, comfort, and safety- do what you can. The class ends with a finger dipping Savasana. There will be a leisurely paddle back to shore. You will leave feeling energized and ready to conquer your day for more Costa Rican Adventures. Classes are open to all levels. Individuals must be comfortable in a open water ocean environment and be able to swim in the ocean.

Eco Friendly, Family friendly, tailored to give the whole family a Green Experience in Costa Rica. Fun For All! Individuals must be comfortable in a open water ocean environment and be able to swim in the ocean. Come down for a “Golden Hour Paddle” and have a cold Cerveza after the sun dips into the horizon.

Re-charge and re- balance your soul on your tropical Costa Rican Holiday. Ring out stress and tension and dive deep into opening and release. Yoga is an excellent way to help loosen and stretch muscles, improve energy flow and circulation, and reduce aches and pains.
This is a beginner level class where students learn and practice proper alignment while learning the fundamentals. Raychelle is skilled at presenting a variety of poses while maintaining safety and integrity. Variations are offered to support the new student while challenges are encouraged for the more skilled as all postures are refined.

Hello, my name is Sheila D. Bell. I was introduced to Tai Chi Qigong eighteen years ago by my acupuncturist and found that it helped immensely with my energy levels and joint problems (a life-long struggle for me starting at age fifteen). I didn’t know at the time how deeply Tai Chi would affect me.
For the past five years I have studied under Richard Clear, and this year he named me Regional Organizer for Clear’s Tai Chi in Costa Rica. Our style focuses on internal energy. In other words, while the physical aspects are important and beneficial, this thousands-of-years-old method is really about the flow of chi initiated by the physical moves, by the breath, and by your mind.
Tai Chi Chuan is often referred to as a moving meditation due to the calming effect it has on your outlook, relieving stress and releasing tension. By strengthening your body, opening joints, and increasing your inner energy flow, you will improve your reflexes, flexibility, resilience, and vitality.
Clear’s Tai Chi is a martial art system which improves your health, confidence, general well-being, and peace of mind. We practice Tai Chi in a standing position, walking through the moves with gentle motion. You may also sit if needed. You will feel energized and relaxed when you finish.

Stand Up Paddle Board Rentals
“SUP” or Board Rentals are offered on an hourly, half day, or full day basis. We use Glide SUP for our rental fleet and they are AMAZING. You will be walking on water in minutes. Stable, fast and fun! Individuals must be comfortable in a open water ocean environment and be able to swim in the ocean. *Due to Covid -19 we require advanced booking and request -NO – Walk in traffic.
Rentals may be cancelled due to inclement weather conditions.

Registration and Cancellations
REGISTRATION and Payment Required before any rental. If this is your first visit to Costa Rica Sup & Yoga, our online waiver needs to be completed before reservation starts. *Due to Covid -19 we require advanced booking and request -NO – Walk in traffic.*
Please note that there is a 48-hour cancellation policy.
REFUND: refunds given if cancellation is made 48 hours prior to paddle reservation time.
No refunds or reschedules will be made for cancellations within 48 hours of the scheduled class.
Rain Weather Policy
Classes and rentals will proceed as scheduled in light rain and other mild weather conditions. We do not enter the water when the forecast calls for lightning and thunder. It is not safe to be on the water in these conditions. We take your safety and ours very seriously. You will be given the option for a refund or the opportunity to reschedule if your schedule permits.
Class cancelation due to inclement weather is refundable immediately and will be announced no later than 1 hour prior to start time.
Loss or Damage Policy:
All of our Paddle board and Paddle Equipment is shipped from outside of Costa Rica from the USA via a cargo ship. Our fleet is our business. Clients and students are 100% responsible for equipment in case of loss or damage. Full replacement value and shipping costs will be charged if equipment is unable to be repaired. We will do our best to repair in house, however, in case of loss, client or student is responsible for replacement This is to include our SUP Boards, Paddles, leashes, PFD’s, anchors, and any other rental items. We have implemented this to ensure that our guests are using safe top of the line equipment.
